But as horrible as the Eagles have looked a score here and the ball to start the second half and this could get close quick.

Yeah, and if not for that first drive penalty that was soft, it might only be 10-0. Another dicey call just negated a good gain. Tom will be making a nice contribution when the ref tip bowl goes around the dressing room after the game.

Well that'll probably be game. Hurts just doesn't have an NFL arm, career backup is his future.

I think that is being a bit too harsh on Hurts. To me the offensive game planning and play calling has been a bigger factor than Hurts' overall ability. It just doesn't look like the right system in Philly for him to excel in.

Hurts isn't good. Maybe a gadget type, Taysom Hill player is his ceiling?

As a QB Hurts is a great RB.
But his accuracy/decision making at times certainly leaves a lot to be desired for sure.
There is a certain quality to him but it hasnt translated to a whole lot at the NFL level.
Taysom Hill is a really good analogy.

I wish Jalen Reagor would pull a AB and just quit mid game

But their game plan is driven by their QB, their current system driven by their QB. They have to be run heavy because Hurts doesn't have the arm to challenge a defense past 15 yards. We've seen it all day, there are throws to be made, they've had Smith with off coverage all day and he can't do anything. Unless his arm suddenly develops a lot more zip I think his ceiling is what we're seeing right now.

The biggest reason to cut him now would be to never have to hear about Justin Jefferson going one pick after him ever again.

After 2 straight blowouts, I just hope Cowboys-Niners is a closer game.

As someone who doesn't watch a lot of Philly games it just seems like they haven't developed the offensive properly with Hurts and to work with Hurts. He is a run threat but that doesn't mean the offense needs to be one dimensional. I don't know anything about the Philly offensive coordinator but from quickly looking up his coaching history it is definitely not encouraging.

Well it should be Minshew time now, those last two throws were horrific from Hurts.

There might a scenario, with an elite defense, that a Hurts offense that is run, screen and slant heavy can maybe win a playoff game. But he's a backup. Should be interesting to see what the Eagles do with the QB situation this offseason.

Hurts is what he is. Good enough to get a team to the playoffs, but get the game offscript and he's completely hopeless.

Hurts is still work in progress. Great runner, good leadership intangibles, not a gifted passer. He did get them to the playoffs but he needs to work on his accuracy and decision making. I don't think he's ever going to be elite but I don't know if this is the draft to go all-in on a QB.

The Eagles have three first round picks this year, exactly what you need for a Rodgers, Wilson, Watson. Whether they do that or not we'll see, but if they want to explore that route they have ample ammo to do it.

I just don't know how any team can trade a king's ransom for Watson until his lawsuits are settled.

I mean how did the ref standing right there miss that? And again where is that HQ ref to overrule?
