Some of us are blighted and have gaps (ie homeless look)… so can’t grow that full luscious look in 2 days like some y’all hairy monsters.

Ok good thing this is the Random thread cos the CP system had kicked me to June when this beard/goatee talk was happening. I didn’t catch it and so well yeah my above comment seems super random. Oh well…. With this latest heat I dunno how some y’all can live with that facial hair.

I liked having a big beard, but now my chin is grey and it makes me look super old. Clean shaven for the foreseeable future. I'll go back to a beard in 10-15 years when it's all grey as that looks cool imo.

Mine seemed to transition through CoVID. Was darker pre CoVID and now that goatee (which is now gone post stampede) is mostly that grey stuff. Still went well with a c’boy hat.

Can I pull the utility marker flags out of my yard? Telus put them in months ago as part of their upgrades.

Anyone have a good solution for ear wax build up other than Q-tips?

Was hoping to avoid a doctor’s visit.

Yup, they will have a map of your utilities.

Get your ear wax flushed out by your doctor. I have to do it at least once a year

Find someone you trust dearly and let them loose with an ear spoon. Actually on second thought, maybe ear spoons are a bad idea.

Digging out the ear wax with things like a tiny spoon or a q tip could actually push ear wax further into your ear drum.

Having a doctor liquify or lightly vacuum out excess ear wax is the way

Agreed. But if you must use a spoon, one with a camera is better than one without.

So this seems like a crazy / random way to perish:
https://globalnews.ca/news/9055639/w...outh-carolina/

I remember a few years back, I think it was Edmonton??, where a helicopter failed and landed directly on someone killing them (they were a student there and their parents lived down the block from us).

Any other weird random ways people you have known have perished?

I'm not sure if there was a more recent one a few years ago in Edmonton, but a student from Kenya was killed, walking down the street, 14 years ago in Cranbrook, BC when a helicopter crashed.

The three occupants were killed, along with a Kenyan Minister's son.

Quote:
Isaiah Otieno, a student at the College of the Rockies arrived in Canada two years ago and was the son of Dalmas Otieno, Kenya's Minister of State for Public Service.
https://en.wikinews.org/wiki/Pedestr...itish_Columbia

Quote:
A 23-year-old Kenyan man was crushed and killed and three others died after a helicopter crashed in Cranbrook, British Columbia, Canada on May 13. All on board the helicopter, two passengers and the pilot of the helicopter, were also killed.

Considered a freak accident, the attention was not centered around the crash or those killed in it, but whether or not the volume on the iPod the 23-year-old pedestrian was allegedly listening to was too loud.

I want the Narrator from PBS Frontline to deliver the eulogy at my Funeral.

Unless I can get Liev Schreiber.

Not as extreme as the above cases, but I've known two people in my life who died after falling down the stairs. Just one wrong step, and that's that.

One was a cousin in her 50s. She was a known heavy drinker, but I can't remember if that was the cause there.

The other was a local neighbourhood woman. Very sad as the teenage kids had already lost their dad years earlier.

Anyone know what this is about? Setup on the 162 overpass, southbound Stoney. A few people and photographer seemed like they were waiting for something to pass by

My wife and kids went to Cape Breton to visit their Nana and Papa. I'm lonely and sad.
