I decided we'd watch Cold Pursuit, becuase it was filmed around here and I thought it would be need to see some of that, despite my general dislike for Liam Neeson. We made it about 15 minutes, and he wasn't even the worst part. I can't tell you if the whole movie is bad, but the first 15 minutes were. Totally amateur hour on the writing with an incomprehensible time line. Not worth it.
I liked Cold Pursuit. I thought it was a great dark action comedy. Almost an outrageous Fargo. And The Grey is one of my favorite movies.
As for The Irishman, De Niro's movements were certainly a distraction, but there's a throwaway line near the end of the movie that may or may not be trying to account for his mobility:
Spoiler!
When they are lawn bowling in the prison, Sheeran narrates that the arthritis that started in the fox holes of WWII was slowly taking its full toll.

Maybe spoiler discussion for Cold Pursuit...
Spoiler!
We stopped shortly after the funeral, that would have stretched a week, and then the bloody kid hopped out from behind the storage rack like it was the next day from when he jumped out of the vehicle. It made no sense.
Also, his kid was found all dressed up, sitting at a table like Weekend at Bernies. And we are supposed to believe the sum total of the investigation was he died of a heroin overdose? No one thought the circumstances were suspicious? Oh, and they had the toxicology results almost immediately, when they usually take weeks, and that seemed to be the sum total of the investigation.
After all that in the first 20 minutes I figured the rest of the movie was going to continue along this path of disastrous writing, and I didn't want to put my wife through all my vocal eye rolling, so we put on The Irishman instead.

Fair enough. Not sure when it's mentioned, but:
Spoiler!
It's explained as a deliberate and rushed cover up. Hence the quick burial and falsified reports. It all happens in the span of a couple days. The remainder of the film is Neeson working his way up the ladder of a criminal conspiracy.
The whole film is exaggerated for the intended tone, which I enjoyed. But to each their own.

Okay here are my worst movies of the decade. Keep in mind I normally avoid critically panned films so this only takes into account ones I have seen:
-Grown Ups 1 and 2
-Suicide Squad
-A Cure for Wellness
-The Secret Life of Pets or Minions (or pretty much anything from Illumination Entertainment)
-Pitch Perfect 3
-Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass
-Price and Prejudice and Zombies
-Mortal Engines
-Independence Day Resurgence
-Solo

Mad Max: Fury Road
Inception
Whiplash
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood
Drive

Blade Runner 2049
Get Out
Avengers: Endgame
My selected list of my highest rated films of the decade on Letterboxd are, in no particular order:
Infinity War
Mad Max Fury Road
Arrival
Deadpool
Inside Job
The Social Network
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood
The Big Short
Blade Runner 2049
Death of Stalin
Inception
Black Swan
La La Land
The Martian
Wolf of Wall Street
Her
Flight
Midnight in Paris
Into the Spider-Verse
It’s more of a favourites list than a “best of”. No way a movie like Deadpool is winning BP, no matter how much I loved it. I might have included Ford vs Ferrari but it’s almost too fresh and I only saw it once. Plus I’m biased towards Motorsport movies. I also left off a few because that’s way more than ten.
I left Inside Job on the list even though it’s a doc. My highest rated movies of the decade is like half docs. So many good ones. Red Army, Icarus, Jim & Andy, Weiner, the Seven Five, The Inventor: Out for Blood in Silicon Valley etc etc. List goes on.
I still watch a lot of movies but way less than I used to. Way less smaller/indie films it seems. I used to always watch pretty much every movie in the BP and acting categories. In recent years I’ve missed quite a few.

Some excellent movies on your list, particularly The Big short, Social Network, and Wolf of Wall Street. I feel like I should expand my list to 20 just so I can fit some more on there. I'd say overall this has been a pretty spectacular decade for film.
