Some great guffaws and still wonderful acting from everyone.

I started watching Documental a little while ago and I got hooked on it. Japanese humour and game shows are really excessive and awesome which is why I enjoyed it even though a lot of it was out of scope for me and sometimes lost in translation.
Prime launched a Canadian version and I'm a little disappointed. Maybe it will get better but I'm not certain about that. Biggest disappointment for me is Baruchel as I just can't stand him.

Finished Vox Machina just to see how they'd end the season. It's fine I guess but I probably won't watch season 2 unless I hear it's a lot better.

Vox Machina started out great, but the second story arc dragged on way too long, and got boring after 3 eps. They really should have tried to limit a story arch to 3 eps.

Watched The Courier last night. A Cold War movie, if you like that sort of thing it was quite good. Would recommend.

I've only seen the ads, and Baruchel seems really over-the-top Baruchel, and that makes me not want to watch.

I started watching the same show but the Australian version last night and it is significantly better than the Canadian version. I almost binge watched the entire thing but I fell asleep during episode 5. The only thing I didn't like about the Aussie version is that they were too lenient on the comedians in terms of smiles and smirks. It is unfortunate that the Canadian version has to suck so much.

It's the opposite of comedy since what comedians find funny, and the type of material they will use on a room of comedians is very different than what would be crafted for a general audience. It's still entertaining on a minor level, but honestly all of those comedians in a room shooting the breeze with no restrictions would make a better show.

I'm watching ER, which I was too young to properly enjoy when it originally aired. ER seems good so far.

Really liked Reacher. It’s renewed for a second series.
I had to get over “Titans” Reacher but I think that was just me. Nice to see Kristen Kreuk again. And I have a thing for Willa Fitzgerald and I get it…phrasing…and I’m satisfied with my choice of words.

took me an episode to warm up to the TV version of Reacher, but overall I thought it was a decent series and relatively aligned with the movies. I thought a couple of times it would have been nice to see Reacher keep a bad alive for some interrogation.
I have to re-watch the scene where he goes to visit his dying mom, as i was initally confused as to why the brother was still alive; however, as I type this, I am now thinking it was a flashback scene to when his brother was alive, and Reacher was still in the army

I enjoyed it, except for the finale.
Hiding behind carboard boxes from bullets...........I mean come on.
Also the whole place explodes with flames shooting out the doors and then he walks out not a singe on him.

If cardboard cant stop bullets then what can?
That being said though, it was my impression that those boxes were filled with stacks of cash which, I think actually would stop bullets?
I'm thinking bricks of bash stacked 2-feet thick might stop bullets?

Started watching episode one and I don’t remember anything about how season 3 ended so I was lost. It’s been over two years since then so I had to read some recaps to get up to pace.

Rumours that a God of War TV series coming from Amazon. I need an app to track the number of things in my "hope it's good but it'll probably suck" list.

Very few changes were made from the novel to screenplay, as I understand (and recall) - except to bring it a bit from '95 to '22.
I expect more of the same for future season(s). Which is great, as far as I'm concerned. It is what it is.

Prime just went up $20, to $99. Still good value. Apparently no further action on my part is needed, they'll get me at my next renewal. All automatically, of course!

I like Lee Child books but I am absolutely driven crazy in both the book and the tv show with Jack arriving in a two bit tiny town and finding his brother he hasn’t seen in several years dead in a ditch. And he is there because he wants to see the town where a random Jazz musician was born. It’s just too much of a stretch, bothered me the whole time I read the book. I was rooting for them to stay true to the book but change that. Even a message to Jack that he was going to be in the state or something would have been more plausible.
