It’s my daughter’s first Flames game. She is 3 years and 2 months today.

3-2 Flames.

Home game, afternoon game. One we would normally lose but this team is living in backwards land now, so we will get back to our 6-2 wins again.

What a stupid post. Do you even know the definition of a troll?

I understand if people don't agree with my statement. However, I would like to see short-term loss that can lead to long-term success rather than being stuck in mediocrity. I am not cheering for the Flames to lose forever.

That doesn't make me a troll.. just someone with a different viewpoint. Not everyone wants to hump the Flames 24/7 like you.

Enough of is enough.
Hopefully they win today so they get 2 points because they’re only 4 points back of 1st place in the division.

Go Flames go.

Cheering for you team to lose is lame... especially when they are in a tight race like this.

People are acting like they need to run the table or something

You know what? Last game the D was ridiculous, board battles in the D zone and sloppy slot coverage.

Having said that, we are pretty confident that Backlund who was -4 that game is now out sick.

I am willing to assume part of the flat D is due to health related issues of individuals, and burn the tape from that one

I am concerned that the illness going around is still a factor so even if they look sluggish today, they have a few days to recover

Seems some people love to be negative.

I'm sure not happy with inconsistent effort but I'm still hoping that some sort of switch clicks and they go on a tear at the tail end of the season here.

I don't let the games tick me off or I feel like I would be miserable for the past 30 plus years of being a flames fan, but I admit I even felt embarrassed by the effort against Chicago.

If I felt that I sure hope that some of the stars of this team felt that and lose the nonchalant attitude it seems they have and really come out with something to prove this year.

Tonight is the start of that!

Flames will be better at the back, and should be able to handle the Ducks up front like they manhandled them a few days back.

Start the week off right, no games for 4 days, and they could still be leading the division by trade deadline day.

I will never stop wanting that the Flames crush the ducks.

Flames trap game. Sucky opponent, on a back to back coming off a big win. And playing at home.

Nice. Maybe she will get to see them win a cup one day. Sigh.

Cheer up, four months isn't such a long time.
