I get the pessimism, but it's far from the end of the season. In addition to the Canucks losing, the Bhawks-Jets wasn't a 3 pointer, the Wild lost, and the Blues lost both games to the Predators in reg time. Yes, the Preds and Jets are now a point back of the 7th and 8th place Coyotes and Flames. The good news, the Flames are only 8 points back of the Stars and Blues for 1st place in the western conf.

Well, as mentioned earlier in the thread, it shows how important coaching is. They are playing with the effort that indicates they want to make the playoffs. They deserve much more than the Flames, despite Flames having a better roster on paper. But as we know, nothing is won on paper.
