There should almost always be a path to redemption. But I don't think Carcillo is on it. He's the hockey equivalent of a born-again Christian. He uses his newfound piety as a weapon to attack people with - sometimes deserved, sometimes not - and as a shield to defend against his own past with. All while refusing to give anyone else the same consideration he's demanding for himself.
