We have a new #1 in the World. For the first time since 2004 the world #1 won't be part of the big 4.

I thought Novak was guaranteed to win AO if he played and Rafa had no chance to win it

Roger is the oldest Men's #1 at 36.......Could we see Nadal break that record this year? He's got a huge lead and clay court season hasn't even begun yet.

That was crazy good tennis from Jiri Vesely today, Djoker was very good but Vesely is fully deserving of his straight sets win.

Well deserved.

Not a great opening set from Shapo, but he does win it in a tie-break over Berankis.

Denis with an early break in set 2. To be fair, Berankis is playing very well and it's good for the 2nd day in a row to see Shapo keeping his emotions in check.

Denis through to the semi-finals with a 7-6 6-3 win over Berankis and gets Djokovic Vesely tomorrow.

I was watching some highlights from Acapulco last night and I see one of Girly's favourites (JJ Wolf) has lost the mullet and then only won one game against Greek Yogurt.

That's pretty weak sauce by the ATP.

I remember being so hyped for that Fedal match at the 2017 IW. It was only a couple of months after their AO final and I wanted Rafa to get revenge so badly. It was so disappointing, but Federer played so well that day, he was untouchable.

Upon further reading, I have discovered that the 40K fine is the maximum that the ATP can assess at a tourney site. They have left the door open for further discipline.

Tommy Paul looks pretty thin, but he certainly didn't need that bagel courtesy of Rafa.

Edit: Paul breaks Rafa to start set 2.

Tommy Paul could and probably should be in a 3rd set by now.
