Well, we need a 4th set and quite possibly a 5th. Charlie saved two match points in that 3rd set tie-break.

What time did Wimbledon start today? 5 sets on Center Court and it's quarter to 7. Djokovic/van Rijthoven are going to run up against the curfew.

I think the 100 year celebration pushed back the start of play today.

In the under the radar match of the day, Cam Norrie dispatched Tommy Paul in straight sets.

Charlie with the one-handed flick backhand down the line. Beautiful shot.

Ruh Roh, a double fault by Charlie gives Sinner the break.
Edit: Jannik digs himself out of a love-40 hole to consolidate the break.

If Sinner plays like he did today he could absolutely win this

He was very good today, but assuming Novak takes care of the flying Dutchman, I don't see Jannik getting by Djoker.

Too bad for Venus Williams and Jamie Murray in mixed doubles as they drop a hard fought match to two British wildcards. How about this scoreline: 3-6 6-4 7-6(16)

Jannick has the game to beat Novak but will he have the mental strength to do it. Shapo last year should have won but the moment got to him in key situations of the match. I'm calling the mega upset and saying Sinner wins in 5. So naturally Novak will win in 3

Meanwhile, Garin and de Minaur are in a five set thriller.
