I don't think Keith was that innocent. To me he gets his elbow into the hit. Knowing Keith, that well could be the case.

Yeah the hit was brutal but not malicious. I would have been fine with 2 minutes.
The non call on Neal and the Hamonic call were also bad.
So the refs are 1/4 for getting penalties right so far this game. Not good

2nd period has been 'Hawk worst all year...3rd has been best, and Kane has massive 3rd period numbers. Flames need to make hay in the 2nd, and trap the 'Hawk D out there with the long change, especially as they are down to 5.

If he doesn't protect himself more, his career will end fast due to injury and concussions. It's one thing to play again teens and guys in junior but against grown men, it's another thing.

You don’t want to go that route...Flames have by far the most third period goals in the NHL this season.
