Great news.
Hopefully he gets in the lineup especially if we are burning a year of the ELC. The fact it burns without him playing a game takes the guarantee away.

Almost 10 years to the day since Iggy was traded (March 27, 2013).

Exciting news.
After Fox, I think there was a bit of anxiety with another Harvard player...but as the record shows, the vast majority of NCAA draft picks do sign with the team that drafts them.
Getting more young skill players in this organization is a huge need imo

My guess is he won't play on Tuesday, but will make his NHL debut either on Friday in Vancouver or Sunday at home against the Ducks.

Is it just "Bison" or is it "THE Bison". Some reporter needs to ask this important question.

Also hats off to Treliving for continuing to grind and do his job the right way even if he knows he's not getting a contract or has decided to leave.
He's done everything the right way.

Tre likes em thick with a big arse

Treliving said it would be a mistake to lump the five-foot-10, 183-pound winger in as being undersized.
“Yeah, you’d like em’ all six-foot five, but at the end of the day he’s a thick kid -- he’s got the legs, the big arse and he has really put his work in physically,” said Treliving

I was secretly hoping they'd retire it for Tim Hunter.

Unfortunately I don't think he'll make his debut until the flames are mathematically out of the dance or players get injured.

Hmm, seem to recall another college draft pick that played his first NHL game in Vancouver. He scored too. However the Flames lost that game. He turned into a pretty good player.
