Good 4th Run for McRae, we're about 2 sliders away from seeing Gough's final run

It just shows the talent available in Canada where a team thrown together can best specialists.

When's the men's short track finals? How about the 1500m long track? How did we do?

1500m long track already happened. Canada finished 13th (Morrison), 21 (de Haitre), and 31 (Donnelly)

'We' did great with gold for Kjeld Nuis in an amazing race. One of the best 1500 meters I've ever seen.
A bit of a surprise Patrick Roest took 2nd place.
Bronze to Korea.

As for Canada; both skater finsished outside the top 12. Morrison was on pace for a medal until the final lap. Race was about 350m too long for him. I don't know if he skates the 1000m but he could be in medal contention.
I thought De Haitre had a bad race. I had him as an outsider for a medal but he didn't look sharp/aggressive.

I can accept the usage of "we did great" by a non-Canadian if it comes from a Dutch person speaking about speed skating. Well done and congratulations.

Just watched the Alex Gough luge race. What an awesome reaction by her and the team after winning bronze. That reaction is why I love sports...feeling like she'd finish 4th again and then seeing that she won bronze after the mistake by the German. Pure elation.
