My Boba Fett fandom went through the roof in a matter of minutes.
Lost my #### at "I'm just a simple man, making my way in the universe"
Could we see a cloaked Luke (to limit the de-aging) answering the call? Honestly nothing feels off the table at this point.
Only feels natural that someone with a saber will need to take on the baddie with the saber. Unless that's mando with the beskar spear (or perhaps Bo takes it to fight Gideon?).
So then was Bubble Feet a huge Timothy Olyphant fan too? Why’d he let buddy traipse around with his armour but then get all giddy up when mando had it?
Yeah that's a headscratcher that might need explaining.
He clearly wanted it returned to him, why'd he watch a guy prance around in for all that time first?
Boba Fatt with a beskar gaffi stick beats Anakin, Windu, Yoda and Palps in 10 seconds flat.
Also please Kyle Katarn, answer the call.
Given that Dark Troopers, which were featured in Kyle Katarn's first game/universe appearance are playing a part in the current season, it feels like that's a real possibility. That would be really cool.
Seems to be smoke around Sebastian Stan as Luke, and while it might not be for another season, I think it may be happening.
They cast Rosario after fans were pushing for her to be cast. Dave and John seem to be very much in tune with the beat of the fans and are listening.
He might not even be the Jedi that answers Grogu, but I'm guessing will show up eventually given that he is in the process of recruiting for a Jedi academy.
Is he not the perfect choice though? His resemblance to Luke/Hamil is uncanny in this interview:
He is the living embodiment of a Luke in his 30s. Even has Mark's mannerisms.
It’s great that Favreau and Filoni are killing it, but sometimes sustained universal praise puts directors and showrunners on a dark path. Everything must be done to ensure that they don’t end up going full Lucas / Wachowski / Shyamalan / Benioff / Weiss. In my opinion even the Nolans are headed in the wrong direction due to this effect.
For now though, I’m just going to continue to marvel at how a guy with experience only in animated series, plus that burly a-hole from I Love You Man and Couples Retreat, are making the best live action Star Wars content in 4 decades.

I don't know, I mean I like Kyle, he eventually kind of became the Anti-Luke Jedi. But with the characters they've introduced in Mandalore they came from Rebels and Clone Wars. I think Kyle might be too obscure, he wasn't in the movies, and he came from a story that doesn't exist anymore.
I'm frankly unsure on the Jedi that might respond. I don't know if I want Luke cross pollination into this universe. Because unless they kill off Grogu it leads to questions of where he was in the events of the ST.
I wonder, if it could be a reformed Barris. Filoni has stated more then a few times that he'd like to revisit her story.

I don't know how they make it work without jumping the shark, but Grugo has to be a bad guy. Force choking is signature Sith. Showing him doing that puts him clearly on the wrong side of the force.
We're basically headed towards a Stewie Griffin paradigm here.

Luke did some force choking in ROTJ.

They made mention that the sand dragon they killed in the first episode had been feasting on a sarlak and that was why it was so big I thought I heard. Maybe that is why Boba escaped.
IIRC, one of the EU books talked about him using a thermal detonator or something to kill the Sarlacc. His armour saved his life, but he was badly injured and had to leave it behind. Not canon anymore, of course, but an alternative.
One of the goofiest stories. He fights his way out of the Sarlacc, he's badly injured and he's found by Jawa's who think he's a unintelligent droid and fit him with a restraining bolt so they can sell him (probably as a sex bot).
Then he found himself on a sand crawler with R2D2, Solo and Leia came to rescue the droid and help Fett escape but Fett stupidly betrayed him, and while Solo, Leia and R2D2 escaped Fett was trapped in the sand crawler as it fell back into the Sarlacc and he was trapped a second time.
He then escaped a second time and was found by Dengar and they had a kind of buddy movie relationship for a while.
There are some parts of Legend that when you look at them again are just really silly.

While having Boba Fett is cool and all, it's getting a little tiring seeing these characters from the OT come back. It really cheapens their deaths. Palpatine, mostly. But this is similar.

I don't remember any of the other stuff before he met Dengar. Haha. Must have blocked it out.
I don't think any serious reading of the main cannon could read Luke as the beacon of Light within the force. He was the shade of grey always in danger of tipping over to the darkside.
