Well that's one RFA down. Fair contract, and should free up more time for Treliving to get the others done.

I'd like to see him get his shot next year. He deserved a shot last year

Hope he gets a fair shot this year. Should have had a much bigger look last year. Every time I see him play, which admittedly isn't much, I see an NHL player.

Hopefully we see him in the NHL a bit this year. Gotta hope he's at least in the top couple call up spots.

Feel like he's going to develop similarly to Backlund. Tins of injuries hampering his early years and then finally gets a healthy stretch where he finally comes around. I mean it's not like he wasn't any good last year either. #2 in scoring on the heat?

Good stuff. Now give him the NHL time that he's earned. He's just so good in his own zone, and he managed to outscore Spencer Foo while being younger than him.

Surprisingly, our RW looks a lot deeper than our LW depth now. Hopefully, Klimchuk gets a crack at the roster. A line of Klimchuk - Ryan - Frolik/Czarnik would be pretty solid.

Interesting that he signed for less than his qualifying offer. He must have received a big raise for the AHL portion of his salary.

Would be a boon for the Flames if this guy makes it.

It sure would be great to see klimchuk become a part of the flames future.
I still, reluctantly, have faith.

Good, that means we're still winning the Kent Nilsson trade

Big season for Klimchuk. It's up to him to prove hes too good for the minors.

A lot of Flames fans are hoping Klimchuk succeeds partly for that very reason. I, for one, find it an intriguing story that the Flames still have an asset to show for a trade they made over 30 years ago, and I think it's rather nice that the story is not over yet.
Lol if you like, but your reaction shows that you are laughing at what you do not understand.

Been in the AHL three years longer than Foo, only scored one more point than him.
Incredible
