Kurt Bensmiller wins the dash for cash and Les McIntyre announces "Kurt is the Connor McDavid of the Chuck Wagon world". My wife looks at me and says "What the hell has Connor McDavid ever won"?

One could make an argument that McDavid is the record holder in "the dash for cash".

There was another segment where a born and raised Brazilian recently moved to Edmonton and won the bull riding at Stampede. Ron says something about another Champion for the City of Champions.

There were some here that kept looking at his body of work in Boston where he drove him into cap hell and wondered what the hype was.

There was a third group that felt that no matter what the Oilers did they would continue to suck because that is the order of things.

Good to see Chia has completely driven that team into the ground.

Terrible at trades
Terrible at negotiations
Couldn't fix their farm system no matter how many top picks in each round he has.

I mean I can't completely blame Chia because I firmly believe that Lowe and Mac-T, Katz's personal favorite collectibles are still calling the shots. But at the end, once Edmonton fires him, he can go into real estate which means great house deals for all buyers.
I had it that they had a fanboy as an owner that screwed up by hiring incompetent ex Oilers to run the show. I was happy.

Then they brought in a decorated hockey Canada man and he hired a guy from another organization. Seemed like the good times were at least going to dissipate to some degree. I didn't think Chiarelli was "strong" but I thought he was better.

Was happy to see that the trouble ran much deeper in Edmonton than offing some former players.
