I have been delinquent in my Rovers love due to the insanity of the EPL.
They're in a playoff spot? This must somehow be Max Power's doing...

Tranmere down to 8th after a disappointing draw against Colchester. Still only 2 points out of a playoff spot though.
This team has changed som much since I've been following them.
Interesting, I totally missed this:
Ian Thomas-Moore left Rotherham shortly after his father left, both by 'mutual consent' and trained with Accrington Stanley for a while but couldnt earn a contract.
Quote:
On Tuesday 6th September 2011, Thomas-Moore posted on the social networking site Twitter that he was retiring from professional football. Thomas-Moore posted: "After a long hard think over weekend, I have decided to pull the curtain down on my career, was hard but the right time, thanks for support".

Rovers are out of the League Cup, League Trophy and FA Cup.
But they're 8th in the League. Come on, no more distractions! Let's get promoted!

Man, if they made it to the Championship, that would be awesome!

Third page! For shame!
Anyways, anyone know of any way to listen to the game today? Notts County are going down!
They sacked Les Parry! Presumably for not giving Max Power enough playing time.

Tranmere salvage a point at the death.

I had high hopes for those crazy kids at the beginning of the season. They were playing tough.
More Max Power is the answer, obviously.

Rovers are unbeaten in 6 games since they fired their coach and are out of danger!

Rovers are now 11th. Clearly safe from the drop zone.

I was at the match, representing CP. £5 entry, are you kidding me? That's £1.66 per goal. Big crowd of about 8,500... the biggest since the Johnny King days they said. Very family-oriented club. The owner said hi to us at halftime outside the concession.
Anyway, the Rovers dominated Stevenage who did not resemble the team that had held Tottenham scoreless in an FA Cup fifth round tie a couple months ago.
My colleague unfortunately witnessed Tranmere fall by a similar 3-0 score yesterday to the Dons in Milton Keynes.

New Season is underway and after the first round of matches Tranmere sits in third!
Granted, they've only played one game. It looks like Max Power is a regular in the first team this year!

I can't stand with CP on this one. I remember lurking this thread when it started but now I am afraid that Brentford is ging to be my local team. I was even hoping to get season tickets, but I don't know how much I'm going to be around. I am stuck in Derby tonight and was going to go to the Chesterfield FC game, but didn't want to wait around for two hours after the game to get back.
Anyway, go Bees go! Tough start to the season, but still lots left to go.
