Tough to say about Jagr v. Hathaway. I love both players.
Hrudey had it right on HNIC, that Bennett goal was like a vintage Jagr goal. Janko has been a huge part of Bennett's emergence, but the addition of Jagr on that line has been just as important.
Bennett to the wing + addition of Janko + Jagr guidance = great success.
That being said, I love Hathaway's game.
Either way, I bought Bennett and Tkachuk jerseys at the beginning of the year. Happy with my choices.

Watching Bennett drive through those sticks and bury it on the backhand looked vintage Jagr. Anyone who thinks Jagr hasn't been worth his salary in Jersey sales and mentoring alone is crazy. Everything else Jagr contributes is gravy. If he can play 40 games and then turn into playoff beast mode scoring the odd key goal would be a dream.

Extra sweet to not give the canucks a pt. Benetts goal was a beauty. And damn every time Tkachuk scores it makes it extra sweet that the canucks passed on him haha

I would flip flop Jagr/Ferland for the 1st/4th line depending on who's going
Ferland seems to be back to stone hands Ferland lately
Hathaway needs to continue to play like this though and be a little smarter about taking penalties.

Stone has done that to a couple guys in the last couple of weeks. The key is that guy has to be laying on/holding onto your stick so you dont draw the roughing penalty. Stone does it just right.

Uhm, AC can we get that Janko-Benny-Hathaway shift for Bennetts goal cued up on video?
I dont really ask for this stuff, but that shift was other worldly.

That's a realistic option. Freddie has already cleared. Put him back on waivers. It takes a day, but he'll clear again.
Hathaway and Rittich are told to get their own places. I'm sure Jankowski already has been told the same thing.

He did nothing all night until he banged one into an open side when he should have been in the box
overall yeah he is a good player but I don't think he did a whole hell of a lot this game

I'm guessing the ATL will go something like this:
Can't believe the Canucks just laid down for the Flames.

Great game from Janko, Bennett, Tkachuk...
I also know he takes heat here (mostly due to the picks we gave up), but I like Travis Hamonic. Think he will be a great piece for many years and seems like a great guy.

The work that Hathaway did to set up Chucky for the tying goal was athing of beauty.
Ohhhhhh and the Coilers are still 8 points back of the Flames
