Monfils loves playing Canadians in ATP finals. Felix showed great heart saving four match points, but just too much of a hill to climb.

We might have to start calling him Felix Murray with all these loses in the finals. Kid will figure it out soon and start winning tournaments.

Call it the Svitolina effect as this is the best tennis that Monfils has ever played.

If you gave DAZN, Kim Clijsters make her return in Dubai against AO finalist Mugaruza at 8am.

Reading that Nick Kyrgios has pulled out of Delray Beach which makes Milos the top seed remaining in the tourney - With #3 seed Taylor Fritz just losing to Cameron Norrie, Milos has a great opportunity to make a deep run in Florida.

/Of course, I said the same thing last week in New York and he lost in the first round.

This is the draw for Milos to finally get back in the win column. He's played well in Delray before and just needs to get off to a good start today and he should be set up well.

Milos isn't messing around so far. Absolutely pummeling Istomin to the tune of 7 break points generated and winning 61% of all points through the early stages of the second set.

Milos polishes off Istomin 6-2 6-2 and will play Stebe next. Also, a Bianca update below:

Felix is in a battle with Stefano Travaglia, the Italian took the opening set in a tie-breaker 7-3, Felix saved a couple of match points to take the second set in a tie-breaker 8-6. Third set is underway.

Felix takes the match winning set 3 by a 6-3 score - Not the best tennis from FAA today, that said, he played some monster tennis in that second set tie-breaker when he rolled off four straight points rallying from 6-4 down. He faces PHH next who defeated Felix a couple of weeks ago in Montpellier.

A couple of matches featuring Canadians slated for Thursday in Marseille:

Shapo vs Cilic - 6 am Mountain time
Felix vs. PHH - 11 am Mountain time

Vasek will play Greek Yogurt on Friday (time to be determined)

Maybe it is just me but does Herbert seem to get a lot of wins against high ranking players yet he never seems to get his own ranking that high.

I see wins against Medvedev, Monfils & Thiem last year.

Edit: Nishikori when he was top 10 last year too.

He certainly has enough game to get his ranking higher in singles, but he certainly excels in doubles (has won all the grand slam titles in doubles). He's a crafty lefty with a tricky serve and he played great against Felix a couple of weeks ago.
