After allowing 5 goals on the first 11 shots he faced in the AHL, he has allowed 3 goals on the last 105 shots he has faced between the AHL and WHL.

So is that 3 games 3 shutouts for Wolf? Jesus...
By my stats read, a junior age player hasnt scored on wolf in an actual game yet in this calendar year: Everett Silvertips WHL 3 0.00 1.000 3 3-0-0 |
USA U20 WJC-20 2 0.00 1.000 1 1-0-0

If the CHL didn't have that rule that stops Wolf from playing in the AHL, would he be the starter for the Heat right now?

In case you missed it on the main board, Dustin Wolf is four shutouts away from breaking the all-time WHL career record:
· Tyson Sexsmith, Vancouver, 2005-09 26 SO in 179 GP
· Carter Hart, Everett, 2013–18 26 SO in 190 GP
· Dustin Wolf, Everett 2017–21 23 SO in 130 GP
Wolf is also one game away from tying the all-time consecutive shutouts record dating back to 1968:
4 – Chris Worthy, Flin Flon Bombers, December 29, 1967 through January 13, 1968

Wolf had a tough first game if I recall correctly, but then had 2 very good games against Toronto-First star with 36 saves (19 in the third) in a 4-2 win, then 26 saves in an 8-1 win. I would dare say that he was getting the hang of things at the pro level.

re: Chris Worthy and the WHLshutout record. I didn't know much about him- of course knew that his teammates would have included Clarke and Leach (who combined for 138 goals that year!!) but Worthy was in the NHL a year later playing for the hapless Seals
