Stanley Cup at the Saddledome Tonight
Just got this email from the Flames:

Get a picture with the Stanley Cup! # mycupmoment
Visit hockey's most famous hardware in Section 227 during tonight's game! The Stanley Cup, Presidents' Trophy, Conn Smythe Trophy, and Calder Memorial Trophy will be available for souvenir photographs until the end of the second intermission.
|
Also, all of the Retro Flames jerseys will be 50% off at the Saddledome Fan-Attic as well for today only. I think it's $67.50 each for the retro's from last year.

I guess we can't buy these online, for those of us not in Calgary

Yep. Might have been $35? Either way, awesome deal. I picked one up during that time, still excited about the purchase. It's now my weekday game jersey, while the regular home jersey is my weekend one, with all its beer and condiment stains

Did anyone manage to get their photo taken (and printed)? I found the process with the ipads to be a complete and total clusterfata...

The next time the Stanley Cup will be at the Saddledome the Flames will be hoisting it.

We got ours. It was quick after entering your info into the iPad. We got our picture in 3-5 minutes and the e-mailed picture was waiting at home. That being said, the iPad was a pain as the staff member held it up for you to enter. Would have been much better if the iPad was stationary on a table or something.

The painful part was that they only had 5 or so people with ipads (or at least that is what I saw.) They needed more ipads. The chic I dealt with handed me the iPad so it was pretty easy to enter my info. We got our picture before the game and I was surprised to see no line up. There were two people ahead of us. Unfortunately it took about 20 minutes to get the registration part done.

Stanley Cup at the Saddledome Tonight
I had a staff member tell me all the pictures would be available for download on the website if I didn't want to wait in line. Can't seem to find them though. Did anyone else get this info and/or been able to track them down?

I was told they'll be up in a week or so. I waited about 30 minutes in line to get the photo printed and emailed, but only got about a quarter of the way through the and said screw this.

I was able to get my picture and while the process was a bit confusing it was so worth it. I have always wanted to see the cup and to finally get the chance was perfect. I couldn't believe the picture was also free and I can now mark seeing and touching the cup off my bucket list. Thanks to the NHL and Flames for making it happen. It was awesome.
