That's fair and to be honest, I have no skin in this game. I've never been a fan of MGS and I don't even know what to make of Death Stranding at the moment.
Im a massive MGS fan, but always thought they'd be better without (or at least with less) all the Kojima weirdness. Death Stranding might just be too much for me, but I'll continue to keep an eye on it
I signed up for the Code Vein network test for this weekend and got a code, but I won't end up with much (if any) time to try it this weekend. PM me if you want it.
EDIT: Gone.

It is funded/published by Sony themselves though -- they don't own Kojima Productions but for all intents and purposes it's a first party PS4 game. While it's not completely unprecedented for a Sony published release to come to PC eventually (Detroit: Become Human just did recently), this is a big time release and a system seller. I wouldn't bank on it ever coming to PC if you really want to play it.

I might be on the other side of the coin. I've actually never been an MGS fan, but there was just something about this game that really drew me in. I think it's the weirdness that intrigued me.
I need some help sleuthing what an old arcade game was. The last time I tried this, CP came through in a big way...
Here is what I remember:
Side scroller where you seemed to be ascending a tower. It was fantasy themed so knights and wizards and stuff. It wasn't D&D Tower of Doom. There were quite a few different characters you could be and a huge part of it was collecting keys to unlock either chests for power ups or doors to the next level.
I am interested in playing Monster Hunter World, looks cool but I can't seem to get a handle on exactly what type of game it is.
I like Diablo-type games. I dislike DarkSouls/Bloodborne-type games. I've been meh to Witcher 3-type games.
Will I enjoy MHW?
It's closest analogue is probably Darksouls, in that you're mainly just using your weapon of choice to chip away at various large behemoths to murder them and progress the story/side missions and craft more items to kill larger behemoths.
It scratches a really particular itch and is very fluid (and quite fun in a group of 2 or 4) and actually challenging, but the story is paper thin and more of an excuse to see the various combat locales and monster types.
As far as single-player goes, you'll feel a bit limited as certain weapon sets aren't great for solo play.

I would suggest you just play Horizon: Zero Dawn as a sort of mix between Monster Hunter and Witcher 3, but you apparently didn't like Witcher 3. Are there Diablo-type games anymore? Point and click iso RPGs? I feel like you're pretty much going to have to stick with Path of Exile and that's about it.

Grim Dawn says hello
It's basically a better sequel to D2 than D3 is, and made by the same guys that did Titan Quest. The amount of character build depth is staggering compared to Diablo, but it's not the unmanageable mess that PoE is

isometric RPGs have made a pretty big comeback in recent years. Divinity: Original Sin and Pillara of Eternity come to mind. Plus they’re porting over enhanced versions of Baldur’s Gate 1 and 2, Icewind Dale, and Neverwinter Nights over to consoles soon.
