Sure. I just am thinking that's why you might send the kid out with an empty net. Mangiapane had just been out, as well.

Well then maybe Koivu shouldn't collapse when a guy taps his hands with their stick? His dive earlier in the period made me sick to my ####ing stomach. The hockey gods saw that and felt the need to deliver a message. So be it.

I was thinking this as well. Grind it out when need be. Or go it track meet style.

But the central is the greatest division of all times and no wild cards will ever go to the pacific

Let it go dude, you're beating a dead horse. Is this a fight you want to win so badly, to make a point or something?

Yes but in this case, if Monahan actually buries the EN, then it’s 3-0 and the Wild don’t pull out the goalie. Backlund then doesn’t get hurt. Does no one remember the Frolik - Smith injury from last season? This team just needs to learn to bury these empty netters to eliminate the risks.

Any vids of the hit and subsequent fight? Had to get ready for bed during the last bit of the period.

Frolik didn't try and miss that game, he just missed.

I agree he has to shoot it. But there were a whole bunch of other moments as bad. Any one of them changes the play. Picking out one seems a little contrived.

I suspect they know and will be reminded.

How about that 18-9-2 Record though?! Haven't seen anything like that since '08-09. Good teams find ways to win, and I know it's still early, but I think this team is going to make serious noise in the spring.

There really wasn't a fight...He mostly just jumped Dumba.
It actually played out in a similar way to Kassian jumping Tkachuk, except Lomberg didn't really try to keep feeding Dumba after he turtled.
