Prey is moderately entertaining but gives your sub(s) a decent workout.

Blazing Saddles was funnier, but Young Frankenstein was just about perfect as far as I'm concerned. Gene Wilder was an incredible talent.

Young Frankenstein was a perfect example of cast chemistry - everyone was perfect for their roles. And it caught the spirit of the Universal horror classics.

The hermit scene in Bride of Frankenstein is one of my favourite scenes in movie history, and Gene Hackman's part in the YF scene almost made me rupture an organ laughing.

This blows my mind. You've seen every odd Korean movie ever, but these two movies are new to you? How the #### did you manage that until now?

Glad to see you get into these. Right up there in my top 10 all time comedies. Those movies made me fall in love with Madeline Kahn.

We just watched Asteroid City… and while entertaining, especially visually… neither of us know what we just watched.

It's the only film of Wes Anderson's that I didn't really enjoy, going all the way back to Bottle Rocket. I had no idea what he intended to make, but it wasn't for me.

I have huge blind spots when it comes to classic movies. Never had an opportunity to watch them growing up and there are just so many options now I have to consciously try and cross movies off specific lists.

What else would be in your top 10 comedies?

Oh man...this might be a project. I may have to break it down by sub-genre or other categories...like they would do in one of my potential top 10 movies: High Fidelity.

I'll probably have to get back to you.

Bleh. Lasted about halfway through and had to turn it off. Just...weird AF the entire time. Nothing interesting. Nothing funny. A film about nothing.

That's a pretty good list. If I go by how much I still quote a movie Ace Ventura: Pet Detective would be on there.

Elf, Airplane, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Austin Powers, Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, Mrs Doubtfire, Wayne's World, Pee-Wee's Big Adventure are more that could be on my list.

Does Ghostbusters count as a comedy? Or Jack Black's School of Rock?

Or fast times at richmont high?

Holy grail could easily be on the list, but I didn't want to duplicate.

Maybe Hotrod could be on the list, it was pretty funny.

And then what about some of those brilliant black comedies, classically Dr. Strangelove and a perfect modern example is The Death of Stalin?

There's way too many to list and it's all dependant on mood as well. Every movie mentioned so far are hilarious.

That no one has Tropic Thunder, Naked Gun or Top Secret on their lists yet is a travesty.
