2 key things this team is missing:

1.) Gamebreaking forward - give Buffalo whatever they want for Eichel).

2.) Killer instinct - hopefully Darryl helps with this.

#### I’m sick of that team winning on the backs of 2 forwards.

Couldn't keep a lead. They didn't deserve the win

He was the same as everyone else, great in the first, invisible the rest.

Weird to single him out

As pathetic as it is, the loss was not as bad as I thought it had potential to be.

Best player on his line IMO.

Bad play by Lindholm on the 1st goal against, bad read and then bad luck by Backlund on the 2nd goal.

Really didn't like Johnny's decision making late though. We win the faceoff with 30 seconds left and he forces a really telegraphed pass to Razzy that was easily broken up and cleared, then forced a terrible angle shot late and misses the net.

Baby steps I guess.

Overall that was a much better effort than the last few weeks, but this team is still making a lot of really dumb mistakes defensively, and unfortunately it cost them tonight.

Flames were in full control of this game at the start of the 3rd and they pissed it away.

Better team won. When a team puts all their eggs in one basket, so to speak, teams with any sort of depth should be able to provide a competitive response.

Flames don’t really have much depth after gaudreau.

Credit for the flames playing their hardest period of the season. But , alas, losers are losers.

Like, you fought two guys in the first and then it was figure skating for the rest

They looked gassed in the third. Overall, I like the effort. At least they now know playing Sutter hockey you not only to work hard but also to work smart.

Backs not good enough. Faceoff not good enough.

Monahan looked completely lost.

I would slot back Bennett in for Leivo and Kylington in for Nesterov.

Not blaming, but he wasn’t the best goalie tonight.

Top two lines need to figure out how to play more like Backlund and Mangiapane 5 on 5.

Connor kind of seems like a shoddy, selfish person for the amount that he is celebrated.

He's not in the same realm as Wayne in terms of redeeming personal qualities.

But let's just yammer on and on and on and on and on and on and on about him, eh Sportsnet.

It's not even about the game any more. It's just those two guys, what they're doing, what they might do, what they almost did, endlessly. It's insufferable programming.

After tomorrow’s game vs Ottawa, Edmonton and Montreal both play twice before the flames play next on Thursday.

Tomorrow is a must have two points. They gotta stay in the mix.

There’s a real possibility they are 8 points back of EDM/MTL by next Thursday if they don’t win tomorrow.

Our top line was non existent aside from the PP. Feels like I could make this same post after almost every game.

Flames really need to figure out that a hockey game is 60 minutes. You'd think that by the time one gets to the NHL that's drilled in. But apparently not.

Well this game reassured me that I am not missing very much when I just don't watch the games, maybe if this team could actually dress a full lineup without having to bench useless passengers making other players pick up the slack

I think they played well tonight. They skated, they were engaged, and they created dangerous chances.

They just don't have a McDavid.

I think Leivo's time on the team should be over.

Andersson gave Mcnoodle way too much room on the winning goal.
