I however long I have been watching English football, I think that was the worst Chelsea performance I have ever seen. Lampard is definitely done, especially with a break, aside from Luton, upcoming.

Moyes somehow?
He has an incredibly long history of performing better than decently

Per Athletic, EPL will trial 2 concussion subs/team/game. About time - hopefully, we won't see thing like Luiz coming back in after the collision with Raul...

Villa look very covid tired today. Martinez playing spectacularly so far to keep them in it.

This 0-0 game has been leagues more entertaining than 0-0 Liverpool vs United

Not sure I've seen a team block as many shots in a game as Villa have today. On another day they are down 4-0 right now, but defense keeps coming up big.

I mean Rodri literally gets an assist, if that's not interfering from an offside position....

Like they are saying on DAZN right now, that decision could end up deciding the season for city, if by the rule it was a technically okay it’s a rule that needs to be changed today

I think Hargreaves and Owen, sounded off best — there should be a rule change coming.

Mostly a disappointing end to what was a fantastic and fun game, especially that second half.

Is Scott Parker the most overrated player to be English capped?
Yeah, I’m still pissed he was chosen over Carrick.

Sure looks like Pogba is going to play himself into a new deal whether United fans like it or not.

nah, he's just inflating his value. Nice of him!
no idea why Ole is waiting so long to make subs ... Bruno is looking dead tired. Who's the blonde guy on the bench? Might as well throw him on for a change ...

At the time parker got picked he had an amazing season beside modric for spurs
Dont think he was chosen over Carrick, they would have been the 2 together in front of the the back 4. Parkers tackling was elite and he was a good short passer, Carricks distribution was incredible, would have made a good partnership with Gerrard in front
Instead it was Gerrard and parker, Milner and young wide, and welbeck ahead of rooney

There was only spot available for either, a ball winning DM, or a deep lying playmaker. Capello wouldn’t use Scholes as a 6, and again didn’t with Carrick.
Instead, Barry & Parker. (Hoping for Hargreaves reincarnate)
The dumb twat.

Yep, like Devo mentioned, inflate that value. Still don’t trust him. Sell him and get Grealish.

There's no argument here. I want him wayyy gone come the summer. Too little too late. That's two points he's managed to claw back from the numerous that he's cost through lazy play, sloppy tackles and needless handballs etc. And I dont count that miss against Liverpool. That's forgiveable. Just a miss.
But I'm glad to see him turn it on. Props to the way he was managed. Sat for numerous games coming on at stages to see games out. Message sent that the club would go on without him and he wasn't a guaranteed walk on and that indeed the way he was playing the best team was the one without him.
What I've noticed and this is the first time I've seen this in years is that he actually gets involved in the goal celebrations. He genuinely seems to be invested in winning. I'm guessing (hoping) that Ole might be managing him the same way SAF managed Ronaldo when he wanted out. Give me one good season and I promise I'll let you go.
Grealish is the miss of the summer. Not just for United but for all clubs. Been said here plenty of times that there is an inflated value for home players but he's worth it. He's shown that he can perform in this league against the very best. Pay top $ for an overseas player you just don't know due to the different style of football, culture, settling in etc. There's an element of the unknown.
They were able to offer that money for Sancho and threw 40M at VdB yet wouldn't pay Villa's price.
Couple of things I've read elsewhere that I don't necessarily disagree with. First is the it's possible Pogba could just have been a slow recovery from Covid and the second is that VdB could have been a board and not Ole buy.
