Had better win tonight, get back to .500 and then go to work with Sutter.

Math like that is always interesting. It's daunting right now, but if you win three in a row it's doesn't seem as steep.
Yeah, we need this win and then we’ve got two straight against the Canadiens.

If this team can string 3 wins together, everything looks a lot less dreary.

Lose today...and yikes.

Safe to say all of the remaining games are the most important of the season.

If we do make the playoffs this year we won’t be backing in, which would be a good thing.

Some interesting comments from Huska around specific players:

When people are talking about dynamic players, I think of it this way:
Dynamic has a meaning of a force or factor that controls or influences a process of growth, change, interaction, or activity : a dynamic force or factor.

So a player that can influence or manipulate or change the defensive shape of an opponent. Who can collapse the box plus 1 (or any other defensive structure) with their skills?

I think Bennett can be one of those guys with his net drive. I see him better at a give and go drive the net kind of player that collapses the d rather than hold the puck, use puck control, shiftiness to get inside that structure and collapse it they way Gaudreau can. It has to be a direct game, just move the puck to areas and skate and then use all that explosive, competitive drive to get inside and battle.

Kylington needs to make his read quicker so he can hit the guy with his first pass who is best option to get a good attack. Too often he hesitates, hits the wrong guy who can not make a good next play. Kylington has to get his head up, see it, and have confidence to hit they guy on the tape boom.boom.boom.

If not, boy is that going to be an interesting conversation when they are finally face to face and I think shows us where the new boss stands on Stan.

The Senators are going to do it again. Huska's tenure as head coach ends tonight.

Don’t have link but Tre said Sutter talked to Sam. Tre thinks it could end up being a match made in heaven.

He also nailed Draisaitl with a hard hit. Most satisfying.

Pivotal game. A loss tonight, and this team will have to play damn near .700 hockey the rest of the way to make it in.

This is the 2nd half of a back to back (and the excuse is right there if they lose) but it would be a real character win if they find a way to get the job done tonight. Come on Flames!!!

He also said it was a clean slate with him. THAT may be the more important part.

Can someone please explain to me when the Flames record is 11-12-2 (this means they are 11-14) how they can become .500 tonight????
You count OT wins, do OT loses not count.

By points I guess. If they win tonight, they will have 26 out of 52 possible points.
