i dont have a great feeling about the season going ahead. Also if there is a mandatory mask requirement to go sit outside on a summer day, to me it is an easy choice to say its not for me.

I'm thinking the season doesn't start until Labour Day weekend and they play a 9 game season. Hopefully, most people will have been vaccinated by then and wearing a mask outdoors will be voluntary. My worry is if they don't play in 2021, you might as well stick a fork in the CFL and a half season is better than no season.

Former Stamp James Vaughters has re-signed with Da Bears...

The Chicago Bears have re-signed former CFL linebacker James Vaughters.

Vaughters was an exclusive rights free agent. Exclusive rights free agents are players who have completed fewer than three accrued NFL seasons and can only negotiate and sign with their current team.

In his second season with the Bears last year, Vaughters compiled 19 tackles, two tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, two quarterback hits and three special teams tackles while playing in 14 games, all as a reserve.

Damn, I really loved his enthusiasm for the game and his overall knowledge of the sport. 61 is way to young! RIP

This is sad news. I was a big fan of Schultzy and while I knew he had some personal issues it's still very sad that he leaves us early. Kind of an awkward moment on 960 this morning on the Stephen Brunt segment when Boomer brought this news up and Brunt was actually unaware and was caught off guard. You could tell he was affected by the news and Boomer apologized.

Wow tremendously sad to me, I really enjoyed his insights and his raw enthusiasm for the game. I met him once, the guy was huge and loud and funny.

RIP

Schultzie was one of my favorite guys on the TSN broadcast. This is downright awful news.

Wow, that actually hits harder than I would expect. I've watched Schultz for what feels like such a long time, and he just went far too soon. RIP

Chris was so enthusiastic about football, and especially the CFL. He was so earnest and sometimes missed the joke when the other panelists poked fun at him, but he had such a big heart.

TSN has some good stuff here. Duthie is having a tough time keeping it together.

From Grey Cup champion and an NFL job to a high school post. How the mighty has fallen. (I know HS football is big in the States but nonetheless.)

That's what happens when you burn your bridges with every organization you work for.

Isn't this the guy who had a secret house for "pre-practice" players that weren't under contract that he could hide? Is this someone you want molding young minds?
