Huge win to stay alive. We stayed out of the box and Matthews stepped up big for us.

Rumors say that Stamkos/Rantanen/Hellebuyck are near exhaustion. We welcome that.

Also of note: Sid the Kid is injured (will miss the remainder of this round, at least). We scored 2 goals within the first 90 seconds of him being out of the game. He clearly was the force driving this Devil team. Jersey was lost without him for the rest of that game. Our players know that and now, with the leading post-season goal scorer injured, we're running into game 6 with all the momentum of this series and are ready to force a game 7.

Caps just couldn't deal with all the injuries. Was riddled all year with it and nothing changed in the playoffs.
