I just was not in any way impressed with that album.
It’s hot garbage. I can’t pinpoint why, but it’s a mess to me.
I think it's brilliant, one of my favourites of the year. I love when music is chaotic and rule-breaking, but still carries an overall melody and rhythm. But I can totally understand why most people will hate it; at times it almost feels like an assault on the senses.

I don't know, maybe because of their focus on improv it seems visionless a lot of the time. They're not doing anything with it.
Just learned Vanishing Twin released a new album last month. Their first album released three years ago was terrific. If you're a fan of Stereolab and/or Broadcast, they are worth checking out.

I already had all their stuff on Google music but it’s about damn time they did this. I guess after King Crimson allowed their music to be streamed they realized there was no point holding out any longer.
