That game was so West Ham. They showed zero urgency for 90+ minutes, and just when it looked like they were going to salvage a point, they threw it away with a boneheaded giveaway. My goodness gracious.

I thought Man City would be just fine without De Bruyne, but they are nowhere near as dangerous. They just look like another team that possesses the ball a lot, but doesn't do much with it. Doesn't help that Mahrez has been a nonfactor so far. Newcastle barely have had the ball, but they've also barely been threatened.

It’s awesome he got this exemption, but aside from that and the positive for Spurs; can you imagine playing sudden death with that kind of pressure? Of course you want to win and all that pure competition kind of pressure exists, but later onto that the fact that if you win you don’t have to lose two of your prime years serving in the military for peanuts compared to your real career!

I think 1-0 flattered them. I didn’t see the entire game, but how Wolverton didn’t score on some of their chances is a mystery. How long does Pellegrini get there? At 0-4 with a tough string to play it might still be worse.

How much does Bernd Leno suck with the ball at his feet that Petr Cech still starts? Cech might end up with 10 assists this year, albeit on other teams goals.

I said this a while back, but for pure entertainment value Arsenal are gonna be the team to watch this year. Excellent attack, horrific defense, mentally frail, and a goalie who is an error waiting to happen.

Elbows starts against Burnley.

Looks like 'Hoof and Hope' is on the cards.

Is he though? Stock price has never been higher, club has never been more profitable. If he were the CEO of any other publicly traded company, he'd be getting lauded for his performance. Of course, there's the massive problem for United fans is they are a business first, and on that front, Woodward has been an undeniable success.

Watford is having a hell of a start to the season. Who would have guessed?

Considering I picked Watford to finish 17th, I'm stunned by this start. They'll likely level off over the year, but they deserved this win and for the 20 minutes after Spurs score they looked quite good. If nothing else it doesn't look like relegation will be an issue, and they could be this year's Burnley.

I really never watch Watford, but they’re actually good. They will surprise a number of teams if that’s how they play every week.

Jon Moss, with an awful game.

United the better club down a man.

Still want Zidane.

He's a hell of a financial specialist

Although to be fair, they are printing money regardless

No Dele or Lloris this weekend for the game against Liverpool. I can't say that fills me with a lot of confidence, but hopefully we get a strong performance from Lucas and Son makes his triumphant return to help fill the void.
