SW/NW is best for sitting in your car all day on inexplicably under built infrastructure with low speed limits and higher enforcement. SW is pretty nice aside from this, but the NW has nothing redeemable. All you Country Hills Blvd drivers are suckers for punishment. At least SE has Fish Creek and some lakes to enjoy, Nosehill park sucks by comparison.

In my mind, I keep lumping that in with the Mission, Beltline, etc. as it's own, so maybe I should say SE non inner city instead.

That and lower mission would be my picks. The areas near downtown should be nice soon. By Knox mtn where there building the new condos. I’m not a fan of upper mission based on the traffic to downtown. Or anything in West Kelowna. I actually think some of the Rutland areas have potential if/when they update the area.

I’m not a fan of anything near the mall. That’s a clusterfata for traffic. The highway and both sides of it. Enterprise is basically just a parking lot most of the time.

Skiers are pretty funny. Families spend thousands of dollars every year on equipment, clothing, lift passes, transportation, accommodations, food etc. for marginal snow and weather conditions the large majority of the time.

Ever notice that the grass in the SE is always brown? ie, lack of precipitation.

But really, we shouldn't be fighting against ourselves...the real enemy are the parasite communities of Airdrie, Okotoks, Cochrane, and Chestermere

No, it doesn't. COP is located in SW Calgary (88 Canada Olympic Rd SW).

Hold on, you're saying that the people who have to drive the Deerfoot, McLeod, and the eastern portion of Stoney and Glenmore have better traffic than the west?

Okotoks should annex the SE

hahaha are you joking around with me? That's the funniest thing ever. Literally the only bone I've ever thrown the NW has been a lie. That's so typically NW. To not even have one redeeming quality. What a dump.

Hey NWers: go ski down Nosehill. COP is ours.

Whenever I'm listening to local radio and I hear "High of 10, low of 2", I'm not sure if they're talking about the weather, or number of accidents on Deerfoot at any given point of time during the day.

The Bownut - come for the higher property taxes, stay for the crumbling infrastructure.

We got one that's afraid of "The Deerfoot". I get it though, you're accustomed to shuffling around the west at 70 or less 99% of the time.

I just only found this out when I was bugging some friends of ours who live in Crestmont that they should "move to the SW instead of living in the boonies of the NW". They were quick to inform me that Crestmont is actually in the SW as indicated by their address ending in SW. This made zero sense to me, and looking at it on a map, still makes zero sense.

You are being unfair. They have that beautiful downtown viewpoint from SAIT.

P.S. But other than that, yeah, NW is a dump...
