Hahahah, this week’s episode of “Lower Decks” was outrageous in the best way possible! This may have been my favourite episode yet. Was it perfect? Absolutely not. It can still be a bit of a disaster. But it was consistently funny throughout the episode. Each plot was silly in it’s own fun way. Curious to hear if others share my viewpoint.
Like I said, they're getting there. They're finding their footing.
Not every episode has to be a masterpiece. There were a couple of episodes that were a chore to get through, these last few have been fun.

It was a fun episode. The Jellico reference made me laugh as well as the Alien shredding the ship and trying to kill the crew and being labeled as peaceful. As well the commando style seed planting mission.
Frankly what makes it fun is that the command crew of this ship is made up of morons, its a nice change.

Loved the silliness. I love the Star Ttek universe, but this comedy feel. Still the same star trekish space oddities and problems, but a comedy, not a drama.
While it looks cool, I'm a little tired of going backwards. I'm excited for the Pike show because Anson did such a great job but I'd rather see them go forward within anything new. While far from perfect, it was still fun to see where the universe was at in Picard.

What is the point in going backwards and doing prequels when the technology and training they have is infinitely superior to what we know they had 'at the time.'
"Thats okay, we'll just time travel!!"
Its ridiculous. Move forward in small increments.

I love the sound of the Axanar storyline, and the fact that there are a lot of familiar actors taking part, While I would have liked to see it released as a full streaming movie, that didn't happen because of all of the lawsuits etc.

I mean Enterprise had some great episodes, but was so inconsistant and at times bland and had no personality (Though the mirror universe episodes rank as two of the top episodes in the Universe). Discovery was/is a train wreck. Again with no personality and forced humor.
Lower Decks is a weird little show that really does work once you get past the intentionally annoying characters.

Umm, is anyone gonna mention that the plot of Picard is pretty much exactly the same as the Orville episode with the robot guy’s home planet?
And then they stole the ending for Picard from his role in X-Men the last stand!
In all seriousness, I loved Picard. Got stronger as it went along. But the first 4 or 5 episodes were too much. Honestly could just watch eps 5-10 and call it a day.
I almost cried the whole episode with Riker and Troi. So nostalgic. I just wish Worf and Geordie made appearances.
Can’t wait for season 2!
