Just hope there are no reviews of 'did the puck cross the line' ,else they will ***** for 12+ years
Quote:
My favorite part about the outrage over that play is that everyone forgets that the puck was kicked, so even if it had fully crossed the line then it would have still been no goal.
Quote:
It wasn't kicked lel

I like your main goaltender, Calgary. Brings back some good memories. Also brings back a memory of losing to Boston in game seven of the ECF because refs wouldn't call a penalty no matter what happened that game...which brings back memories of the last two games...arghhhh

2004 Stanley Cup Champions vs Calgary Flames! Let’s gooooo
Quote:
I have zero sympathy for the no goal. Flames fans are absolutely pissed that their potential Cup winning goal didn't come in controversial fashion in the same vein as Brett Hull. In the overhead view you cannot clearly see a puck across the goal line and into the white of the ice. And it's not like the no goal cost them the Cup. The game simply remained tied. Then they had something like 7 minutes left of the 3rd period to win. Then there was an entire overtime... and then another overtime (which we won in 33 seconds) and THEN a game 7. Give me a ****ing break that the refs cost you a Cup when you had nearly 4 1/2 periods to make up for a tie game. I feel terrible for how things went down but the right decision was made. If the situation was reversed I could not bring myself to rationalize that way. If you can't win game 7 you don't deserve to win.
Was it in? Hell it might've actually been. But if you can't prove it definitively in both views then it's inconclusive. DO NOT award a Cup winning goal that's not fully conclusive.

Come on...why do we always have such bad starts?
Quote:
And there it is. Dotchin had one good game but needs to be upgraded
Quote:
Really?
Quote:
That was extremely poor on Dotchin's part.

Quote:
Lol are you ****ing kidding me with that no call.
Quote:
It's happening again.
Quote:
Bettman probably thinks that the Bolts have too many points already...seriously. You can't be this blind...

The refs appear to be actively trying to **** the Lightning over the last few games.

Whose leg do we have to pull to get a power play?

This just in from the NHL Officials Association:
“Tonight's Lady Bing finalists are the 19 players that will be on the ice for the Calgary Flames. We applaud their sportsmanship and gentlemanly conduct, including their consistent adherence to all rules of the great game of hockey.”

Hedman shaken up

"Victor Hedman has sustained a lower-body injury and will not return to tonight's game" Bryan Burns on Twitter.
Quote:
Oh God..... NO NO NO NO! Not Hedman
Quote:
not like this Heddy
Quote:
God dammit not Heddy last guy we need to lose.
Quote:
Fingers crossed guys.
If Heddy is seriously injured Tampa, also this year, will go out to the Cup contention...
Please, everyone of you: fingers crossed.
Quote:
God damnit, guys. I’m so deflated that Hedman is injured. Like... ####.
Johnny adds insult to injury
Quote:
Jesus Christ really?
Quote:
Flames scores of course.
But now it's not the biggest problem we have.
Quote:
Double crap. :::sigh:::
Quote:
Why are Coburn and Sustr out there against the Flames top line? Unless I'm missing something that one's on the Coaches...
Quote:
Dude we look like #### tonight. Heddy getting hurt didn't help but we just haven't looked good. Coop is gonna grill 'em in the room
Quote:
Oh god I tune in and Hedmans hurt?!!??! how bad did it look?
Bennett strikes with a mystical PP goal
Quote:
Did Coburn score that one?
God he's bad.
Quote:
#55 = large pylon
Quote:
And I want to be clear about this because again... It's definitely more Coburn than Sustr. But yeah, I'm ready to deal both of them.
Quote:
Cannot wait for this game to be over. Would really like to deal Coburn, too.
Quote:
This team has completely fallen apart with Hedman out
Quote:
Need a top 4 defenseman. Dotchin is not showing he can take it and fill that hole. He was getting that pairing exposed lately and when you're in a series, that's bad. All it takes is a couple goals in a best of 7 and we shift Girardi or Stralman up, or of course fill the hole with Sustr. Completely ruins where players should be playing.
We need a top 4 defenseman. Coburn sucks as well. I would've taken another year of Garrison over his garbage play lately.

Vassy is shot. This is a thumping

4-1.
Also the guys on the ice are thinking about Hedman...
Quote:
Not sure who to blame...
The forward that set up their breakout.
Sustr for being up the ice.
Gourde trying his best to play defense
Vasy getting beaten. Again.
Clearly they didn't want to play tonight.
Quote:
This ladies and gents, is life without Heddy. It would be ugly.
Tkachuk gleefully jumps on the wagon
Quote:
i want to die
Quote:
5-1 Flames, and it's Matthew Tkachuk's 11th of the season. Just a tough turnover to give up, Brouwer with a good pass there.
Quote:
Mike Smith has been the best player in this game by a long shot. Plus his playing of the puck has lead to a lot of their offense.
Quote:
Whelp that's it. We're boned
Quote:
yikes, what a disaster of a game. Vasi having a rough night, but so is the team
Quote:
You can tell they aren't here tonight mentally, and the Hedman injury likely only exasperated the situation. They had a few good chances, but some nights are like this, no?
Man I just hope Hedman is a being held off the ice as precautionary issue and not major knee. That hit really didnt look good in Slow-mo.
Quote:
Bolts are having a day like I did today.
Surely the mighty Lightning will give us a treat?
Quote:
Of course the ****ing Flames get an ice cold Vasilevsky who apparently has given up 10 goals in the last 2 games and Calgary scores in the first minute.
Quote:
Imagine where they would be if JG went down. He's in on a ton if their goals.much more then mcdavid was last year.
Quote:
Must be nice to have wingers who don't flub every golden opportunity they get
Quote:
**** me. Bolts skating circles around Calgary but Calgary up 3-1.
Quote:
Wtf Tampa?!? They were absolutely pumping Calgary the first 2 periods and Smith saves their asses, then they completely rollover in the 3rd. Wish we could have a team lay down for us for once. Still not convinced the Flames are for real, they’ll drop out of the race when Anaheim, Minnesota and a Chicago inevitably turn it up.
Quote:
woof 11 points back of Calgary...hurts.

I must give a special thanks to the wife for going up to watch tv in bed so I could have beers and watch the game on the big tv.
What a game. What a wife.
