Default Joe Thornton likely out "several weeks" with MCL injury (pending MRI)
Thought it was worth posting; a key player on a team that is battling with us for second/third in the division:

Hate to see that because I like Joe.

But it will give him time to work on reshaping his beard.

I like him too and never wish injury on a player but if he's out a while I hope the Sharks finally go away.

Yeah, that doesn't look great. Didn't the exact same thing happen to him last year down the stretch? Tough luck for him.

I think he was on borrowed time on one of his knees. Not sure if this is the one, but the recovery from last year's injury was a little too quick.

Hate to see a player injured, but I hope this means the sharks drop out of the race in the Pacific.
