Default Flames @ Greasers

Heading to the game tonight as my 40th birthday present to myself. Had to watch that eyesore of a toilet bowl being constructed from my office window so it will be nice to see what it is like inside.

Predicting a big 4-0 win for the good guys! Tkachuk with the Gordie Howe hattrick and Money with the normal one.

Win tonight makes it 5/8 points since the break and a 100 point pace.

Go Flames Go!

It's hard not to expect a big loss tonight, but it would really please me if the Flames at least showed up tonight and made an effort, unlike 5 of the previous 6 games versus this team.

I'm excited as the Battle of Alberta is always one of the more anticipated games of the regular season but it's also accompanied by dread. I know that some fans point to the coach's record against the Oilers but I feel it's more than that. I feel the BOA simply means more to the Oilers right now as it's showed in how they have outplayed the Flames over the past few seasons. If just means more to them. Spector a few days ago was still romanticizing over how good the Oilers looked in game one of the season. It's their Stanley Cup and the Flames have oddly treated these games like just another game.

I actually believe the Oilers were a no-show against the Sabres because they were looking ahead to this game as it means so much to them. I expect to see their best effort in a long time. I think the Flames are going to have to score the first goal in this game as if the Oilers score first things seem to just unravel like last game. One thin I am sure of is that one goal is not going to secure a loser point tonight.

For the love of god, please be ready to play this game.

Also FFS crush McDavid when you get the chance. We're always so soft against the oilers.

Regardless of previous games, being in Edmonton I get a see a lot of Oilers and they have been brutal this month. Even in their wins it is ugly. The Flames may have had a poor game against Buffalo but the Oilers looked like hot garbage against them. If there is any time for the Flames to break this losing to the Oilers mentality it is right now. They really are no good.

Flames play soft and scared against them. If Flames want to win this they better hit everything play a physical game. The Oilers will crumble once the physical aspect happens.

Maybe mike smith can dress as a forward and score a goal because god knows he's doing everything else to help this team win.

Greasers is such a lame put-down of the Oilers.

Well you realize they call the Flames the Lames right? Does it get any lamer than that?

I think they should double shift more than just Johnny if they want to score more goals. Double shift Monny & Chucky on other lines too.
