Only 63 gp though. If he maintained that pace over 82 games it translates to 34 goals, tied for 9th in the league with Sharp and Benn.
Who knows what teams are thinking, but given what players with similar production are getting paid, $5M+ doesn't look out of the question.

I think he can manage to get a 5.5m x 4 deal from a team. 6m if one wants to overpay (which is likely).

Who on earth is going to give him that?
Enjoy Florida, I guess?

With the lack of interest shown at the trade deadline, I wouldn't be too surprised if the Flames offer is the best he gets.

Called it. This is Cammy's last shot at a long-term contract.

I like Cammi and would think $5mil should be in the ballpark. The flames should not, however, negotiate against themselves. If Cammi can get more $ or term on the open market, more power to him. I am not so sure how desirable he will be to other teams and I do think the current offer could be his best one.

A) how is losing a first line player for nothing a good thing?
B) because "reputation" determines the outcomes of all trades right?
So you would rather get nothing than a third round pick?

Easily I think. Look at last years UFA festival.
Clowe, lecavalier, Weiss, fillpula, Ribero, Horton, and of course clarkson.
All were in that range or better. Even 38 yr old Elias got 3 yrs 5.5

Guy is the lead writer for the Bleacher Report, so take with a grain of salt:
Dave America Lozo @DaveLozo · 45m I'm hearing Mike Cammalleri is looking for a deal in the five-year, $25 million range. Considering what Gaborik got today, it seems fair.

All the rumours are pointing towards him wanting a 5 year deal. Walk away, no way is he worth offering a 5 year deal to. I'd be annoyed if the Flames did that deal with him.

Well that term and price has kinda been thrown around for a while, so it's pretty reasonable.

What he wants and what he'll get are two different things. Based on his age I somehow doubt anyone is going to give him a 5 year term. I suspect 3 years is what he'll get.

A 5 year deal for Cammy is a one way ticket to crazy town for the GM that agrees to that term.

To be fair, Gaborik is a significantly better player than Cammalleri.
