I like Marchment, he just wasn't fitting in on the team and Wheels has always performed well for me.

The Kings have also traded goalie Fedotov to Columbus for Caleb Jones. This solves the jackets cap issue, and gives the Kings a short term solution to gios injury.

With the addition of marchment, we add a physical aspect that we were lacking. In tandem with the Fowler and Karlsson trades, our cap moving into next season is now a wash, so that was a goal of ours.

I remember Ryan pike saying that salomasson was a target of the flames if he fell that far in the draft. Basically a right side porier. Taken 4 spots earlier by Winnipeg.

Ducks continue to blow up their team. Georgie boy is the starter for Colorado, should get a good re rate.

Traded a late 1st prospect from last yr in Howard which is good value for Cheese.

Thanks to simmer for the easy talks. Georgie just never fit with the Pens and we had to make a move to shore up the backup role. Raanta has done that for Anaheim and getting Howard helps replete my prospects from earlier deals.

The Avs trade Rantanen to the Ducks for Kaprizov and Lambos.

Hate to lose Rantanen as I think he will be an 80 OV player next year but really like adding Lambos with a star like Kaprizov.

I really like Kaprizov and Lambos, but Kaprizov was a -20 and just never seemed to click.

Rantanen is a guy I've wanted for 3 years, so I'm thrilled to add him. I think the price was fair to pay for both sides.

I have such a big hole to dig out of with this team that it may become insurmountable. Goaltending has killed me.

So I might as well do a bit of off-season planning now before a bunch of teams start selling.

Mange is a guy I'm hoping I am buying low on. He has time to figure things out, and it is nice having a Flame on the roster to cheer for.

Havelid is a super-talented 2nd rnd dman, but is smaller. So it remains to be seen how he turns out. It helps to replenish the prospect pool a bit after moving out Lambos and Howard.

Good on Knut for making the move in trying to win. What a turnaround for the Jackets so far this year
