Weird that all the cities have population numbers ending in 00. Do they bus in homeless from city to city right when the census is done to make up any shortfalls in a round number?

The information in the OP is actually estimated numbers based on the 2011 census. That's why they only go to the nearest hundred.

Here are the true numbers from the 2016 census: http://www12.statcan.gc.ca/census-re...&T=201&S=3&O=D.

Not surprisingly, Calgary and Edmonton didn't continue their rate of growth from 2011, so the estimated numbers are incorrect. Edmonton is still smaller than Ottawa (although, it's extremely close) and Winnipeg is still smaller than Quebec City.
