63 seems way to young for a guy who was an athlete.

as always with wrestleres, the cause of death will be interesting

63 seems positively ancient for a wrestler.

RIP.

He was suffering from Alzheimers or Dementia for sometime and reports are the fall/seizure was as a result.

Very sad! Such an entertainer and legend in the WWF.

Man, I met him when I was a kid and remember he was super nice. Always sad when you hear of a wrestlers death from your childhood. Those guys were like superhero’s to me back then, they are supposed to be invincible and live forever.

During the mixed match challenge Nattie gave Shinsuke Nakamora the jacket that the Anvil wore when he and Bret won their first tag team championships

https://twitter.com/user/status/952873280783855617

This was that match. Notice that Dynamite spends the whole match outside of the ring after a soft Megaphone hit by Hart. Dynamite had blown his back out and had just spent a week in the hospital after back surgery. Davey literally had to carry him to the ring, and then Dynamite spent the whole match on the floor, in pain.

This was the beginning of the end of Dynamite's time in WWE. He and Davey grew to hate each other.

Bummer. I did my real estate course with him. We did our final project together creating S&P Properties Inc...a fictional real estate brokerage in charge of listing the Hart house. The S stood for Strength and the P was for Power. He was definitely both of those.

Billington grew to hate everyone.

And this is sad news. Another of the Foundation, an original, is gone. Pieces of my childhood die alongside each time this happens.

Davey Boy, Roddy, John Tenta, Ric Rude, Curt Hennig, Savage, Anvil, and so many more.

Hogan put butts in seats, but Bret & Jim would make sure theirs was the best match of the night.

I think we're going to see it mainly being the last generation of wrestlers dying off, that was the party and drugs and no head injury protocol.

Most of the younger wrestlers are more then likely going to have serious video game addictions, you don't see the super roided up wrestlers, and even watching some of the back stage documentaries like breaking gound, the concussion protocols and wellness programs have gotten really strict, especially with the concussion lawsuits.

They've even calmed down a lot of the ring styles, and because the wrestlers that they bring in are better athletes they're better at protecting themselves.

Hogan matches were the worst. Always totally predictable. The script was always the same.

The Hart Foundation were the heals that you always wanted to root for. They, along with Randy Savage were my all time favourites growing up.

Very sad to hear this, but I am very happy to hear that people who interacted with him is real life, describe him as so kind and down to Earth. Condolences to his friends and family.

I haven't liked Hogan since I ran into him in a Winnipeg Hotel when I was working there, and Hogan was a complete a$$ to me.

Macho Man on the other hand was awesome.

I don't follow wrestling anymore and really stopped following it sometime in high school (graduated in '92).

I fondly remember Stampede wrestling. They would tour the little towns in western canada and would allow the kids to come down and watch them set the ring up etc. If things were running smoothly they'd even let some kids get up into the ring learn some things. I've been lightly body slammed by Bruce and Bret and taught how to go into the ropes by Keith Hart. The Harts being the face of the brand were always very personable. Bad News Allen also seemed pretty good. The Angel of Death was a dick. I don't recall meeting The Anvil but the Hart foundation was the era I watched and I remember always looking forward to the HArt Foundation matches. It sucks to see all these people that had some impact on your life you pass on. RIP Jim.
