Oddly enough, there's a group of wild peacocks out in Surrey, BC. Not sure how they got there to begin with but it's quite a large group from what I've seen on the news.

Apparently they are not as revered there as they are here.
Pretty stiff fine for harbouring a peacock.

The noises peacocks make are so unbearable. Other zoo animals are all high-fiving the cart driver today, probably.

I used to have a peacock named Pete. Got him off the racing circuit. Actually he was my neighbor's bird but he liked me way better. That was like three Christmases where everyone got peacock feather arrangements. RIP peacock.
