The NHL is essentially Tyrone from Snatch.

The problem for me in 2004 was the fact they didn't even review it. It probably would have resulted in the same call though.

Screw the NHL, simple as that, wonder how we'll get screwed the next game. An absolute indictment of Bettman wanting American teams to win. I have never believed in that crap before tonight. Complete horsesh%*!!!!

Yep, its clearly sliding along the ice.

With the Gelinas one, I still maintain that yes the puck was enough in the air that its impossible to prove either way... but this one is 100% clear cut.

I just. I just don't understand. If we lost this game I wouldn't have slept for days. I don't understand how a human person with eyeballs can look at that video and not conclude that it crossed the line. It literally makes zero sense.

I thought the same thing too, it looks like the puck bounces slightly off Andersen's pad before the freeze frame

That is just a complete absence of testicular fortitude out of the "war room."

Sorry, but if you can't nut up and call that what it is, somebody should find you a new job.

That is the whole story. HD video clearly shows there is zero way that can be seen as a non-goal.

Flat on the ice.

Totally over the line.

Toronto blew the call. And EVERYBODY is breathing a sigh of relief that it totally doesn't matter one iota. Flames win, nobody is going to complain. Whatever loser drunk ex-player nepotism appointment to working in the Toronto war room deserves to be fired, but otherwise there is zero impact.

Zero.

Flames win, justice is served, the victory is just that much sweeter for being a comeback against all odds.

Story of the season.

What is this "sleep" you speak of? It's 3:09am right now and I work in the morning, I may push through and just stay up. I'm still buzzing.

I wouldn't even say bouncing is accurate. It was wobbling yet still touching the ice at all times.

Regardless we're talking about being a millimeter or 2 in the air, as opposed to several inches like Gelinas' chance.
