Birthday today, so the Flames need to win 2-7. Hopefully it’s not the other way around

I predict Sam will NOT fight someone. However, he will probably run at least one guy through the boards. He does it at least twice a game these days.

It took Gio about 5 minutes to score on the Flames. How long for Bennett?

I miss Sam Bennett. I am a damn sentimental fool.

Oh look the Flames are playing a hockey game. Odd. Then we wait until Saturday for the next. Sweet. Oh, you mean they have the most ####ed up schedule in the league….again? Shocker

^ Slightly related but Friedman was saying on the Marek Show that the revised schedule is likely to drop this week and the Flames, in February, will be "busy".

Now that goes without saying, but these delays and starts/stops are about to become history. Fans in the stands or not.

I’ll say it here too. Over their last 9 games, the Panthers have been averaging 6 goals for. Averaging (!). They have been allowing 2.67 on average

So that last 6-2 game was, for them, just another ho hum everyday game

And the Flames have been god awful at home, and only played once in 11 days, so one may fear them being rusty

All that said, 9-1 Flames

Hard to get in a rhythm to be into the games. Seems like the players feel like that too.

The 4L is a wasteland but honestly at home, how much are we really going to see them? They'll be used but I don't expect a lot which means the remaining 9 are slotted how they likely should be.
Looks so much better. I mean that 4th line should hardly play at all but at least the roster is set up for 3 lines to contribute some offense instead of having the 4th liners occupying space on lines 2 to 4. Great that it worked early on but it was time for a shake-up.

Another episode of “I wonder if they’ll care” tonight, awesome.

Backlund should be benched.

I know someone who works close-ish with the flames and while they aren’t 100% sure, they were told to prepare for an additional 8 home games in February so ya it might get busy

Wish they would try Mangiapane-Dube-Coleman but I still like the looks of these ones.

The crappy thing is that when the Flames had such a rushed schedule to start (after a week's delay) they were all "well it evens out later". Except now it hasn't.

Does he even need to shower after a game? He's like James Bond, pulls the rip cord on his uniform to reveal a Tom Ford tux.

Looking forward to see Zadorov-Gudbranson's passing game under Panthers' pressure. Yikes.

I intend to point out that Ryan Lomberg is nothing more than an average 4th liner at around 7:30 tonight. As such, we should anticipate that he will score at around 7:31.
My apologies in advance.
