Default January 16, just one game.
Crazy schedule as it is a quiet Sunday OOT with a solo game unlike yesterday's amount of games. There were originally supposed to be 2 games (Oilers at Jets ppd).

Ovechkin scored the game's first goal. Petterson woke up and scored a pair of goals including a power play goal. The Canucks surprised many fans as they defeated the Capitals 4-2!

Timo Meier has 5 goals and almost still a full period to work with. Could see some history.
No one has potted 6 since Sittler.

Jesus, good thing Thornton isn't on that team any more. I don't know what he thinks a guy who scores 5 should do.

No January 17 thread, so just mentioning it here, but the Wild and Avalanche game was really good. It seemed like a playoff game with the intensity.

Also crazy that SJ is up on LA 6-2 while being outshot 37-15 currently. They scored on 6 of their 15 shots.

Timo Meier with 5 goals today in the Sharks win. He scored the five goals within two periods as well.
