St Louis moves on from Kucherov

The St Louis Blues returned from the Christmas break with a bang and showed that their intention is to challenge for a league championship. On the night before their next game against Nashville they made what must have been the 8 millionth trade with the Predators after a night of beer pong and wings with Cambam that ended in a major deal.
The Blue's trade wingers Nikita Kucherov and center Tomas Nozek for Wingers Phil Kessel and Blake Wheeler.
"Nikita is a great player and he'll probably do well in Nashville" GM Crunch said between belches that smelled suspiciously like a combination of Old Milwaukee and super spicy wings. "But here he just wasn't able to develop chemistry. We were winning games but aren't getting enough from the top 6 so I shook it up"
When this intrepid reporter stated that the team is becoming more noticeably veteran like Crunch asked me if I wanted punch in the mouth, which I did not want. It is hoped that this move will help Taylor Hall and Anthony Duclair in re-finding their offense, and to give the Blues more offensive punch that has been lacking for a while.
With this trade the Blue's lineup will now look something like this
Hall (74) Couture (75) Wheeler (74)
Duclair (73) Stephenson (72) Kessel (72)
Jankrok (71) Stastny (71) Archibald (68)
Appleton (68) Krejci (71) Ryan (67)
Nyquist (69) back in a month
Fowler (71) Suter (71)
Jensen (70) Matheson (70)
Fabbro (68) Brodie (70)
Price (85)
Bernier (81)
