Can you clarify "fresh"? Did you mean raw, uncooked fresh, or freshly cooked? Chinatown or around Centre St. & 16th Ave is probably good for the latter. Not sure about fresh in the other sense.

If you want BBQ duck, Gee Gong in Chinatown is by far the best. I've shopped around quite a bit for quality duck and that place is #1 IMO.

I work in Willow Park Village and there is a "Second to None Meats" store here that just opened.
I called over but they are closed on Mondays. I looked on their website and it says that they sell whole duck, duck legs and duck fat. If you call over there tomorrow, I'm sure someone there can tell you if they have fresh (not frozen) duck for sale. Their number 403-225-2788
Looks like they have 2 or 3 locations in Calgary.

Ive been in to their store near my place. Its frozen duck and they didnt have any suggestions where fresh duck might be had.

Was discussing with a co worker the game tonight and decided I wanted to have duck for dinner.
Does any one know where to pick up a ready to eat bbq duck, like you would a chicken from Safeway etc?
