Get in. No game I dread more than against the Mancs. Back top of the league!

Still don't think we'll beat City in the long-run, but it'll be a helluva chase.

It’s funny to laugh at United, but they have an easy string of games coming up. Cardiff, Huddersfield and Bournemouth I think, which is basically an easy 9 points. Assuming Mourinho stays, he could right the ship through this stretch.

Well Huddersfield currently sit second from last and have won twice this year. Bournemouth has one 1/5 as of late and while they should be better, that’s not an inspiring run. Hopefully they’re coming off a loss to Spurs when they face you as well!

Right now there's just no such thing as easy points for United. They allowed 36 (!!!) shots today, they aren't even good defensively. At least last year they could rely on that, and really that's the big shock this year about them is they are now just so bad defensively. You could predict Mourinho would stifle their attack, but the defense is shocking.

There is no such thing as an easy game for this very average team.

If thats 'bang average' then I'll take it. Rare mistakes but mostly very confident handling of the ball.

And he inspired confidence in his defenders that he can make a save.

We've conceded the fewest goals in the league.

Pogba spraying passes to Ronaldo in Turin could be fun to see.

I wonder what they'll get for him. I'm guessing thats going to be a poor return on investment.

I'd take him. Like a few of the players at United, the issue isn't with them, but a rung above on the ladder...

Poch for Pogba is probably what United would demand.

Well obviously I couldn't condone that kind of stupidity. I can't see a scenario where I would give up Poch for basically any reason at this point. Everything Spurs have built is thanks to him!

But if we're talking cash for Pogba and a deal based on what they paid, well that's another story. Pogba, Martial, Rashford and maybe even Lingard are players I would take off their hands to help them rebuild under a new manager.

You're both right in a sense.

DAZN allows two simultaneous streams per account, and you can be logged in on up to 5 devices. In practice however, I have actually had 6 devices logged in successfully. When you reach your limit of logged in devices, the oldest one gets bumped and you'll have to sign in the next time you use it. Or you can manually remove the connected devices from the DAZN web site.

5 devices sounds like a lot, but depending on your viewing habits, they add up pretty quickly. Smart TV, Apple TV, phone, tablet, web browser at work, web browser on laptop, etc. Of course I won't use all of those on any given weekend, but over the course of a month, I will likely tune in at least once from each of those so I will occasionally have to re-login.

I have had no issues at all with DAZN, and getting the Premier League rights is a huge coup. I recently renegotiated my cable with Shaw so cable makes up very little of my monthly bill, so I'll keep that around for Flames games. If not for that, I'd probably cut the cord entirely.

You seem to be forgetting because of the stadium debacle Spurs are pretty much broke and won't have any significant transfer funds for years (unless they sold Kane/Eriksen). So yeah you'd better keep Poch, losing him with a thin transfer budget probably puts you below Wolves.

Well we can't all have the backing of a nation-state.

I think that Spurs are going to have some money for transfers, although it's somewhat muted of course. Better that than over-extension and all of the issues that causes.

At least you can say you have a nicer stadium than they do. Despite the rather shambolic process it's been, stadium looks sharp.

I don't think it's shambolic. I mean it sucks to have the delays, and that's not a good thing. In the grand scheme though, its a 6 month delay on a building that will likely be in use for about a century. These things happen. Could be worse; we could have knocked down the old building to rent out an athletics stadium instead!

For all large projects there are contracts for stiff penalties to be paid for work not completed on time.
I'd be curious to see how that balances out against lost revenue, renting Wembley etc.
But this delay seems like a strange one. Not as if they were behind but almost like they were finished only to realize they had forgotten about a significant component of the building.
