Honestly, the ATP should be doing the exact same thing as the WTA at this point. If both tours pulled the plug with no plan to return, it would send a pretty big message to China.
I would also suggest Western Canada as a potential location to hold events during this part of the asian swing.

I don't know what to say about the ATP these days -- domestic abuse allegations are out there with prominent players, and the ATP is acting like nothing is going on.

It's certainly not great optics when they keep promoting Zverev as much as they are (and the ATP has treated Basilashvili with kid gloves and his ex-wife actually charged him with domestic abuse). I don't think that court case has even taken place yet due to COVID-19, meanwhile Basilashvili much like Zverev has been able to continue playing on the tour.
It would certainly send a strong message if the ATP joined the WTA in suspending all tournament play in China. Based on recent history however, I doubt that happens.

I'm glad there is one sports organization willing to stand up for what's right over profits. The ATP, NBA , NHL can all learn from the WTA.
