Then over the years he started to unravel more and more and you heard more first hand stories of people who ran into him and said he seemed like a jackass in real life and it really disappointed me. All of his recent political views and thoughts on vaccines and weird conspiracy theories just make him seem like a deranged lunatic. Sad to think I used to idolize this guy when I was young.

Then Jarome came along and it was night and day in the way they carry and conduct themselves. Guy seems truly like a genuinely nice human being. I mean, you can never tell, but I've heard so many anecdotal stories of people I know who have run into Jarome in the city over the many years and they had nothing but wonderful things to say about him.

Sorry for the rambling off topic thoughts, just seeing theo saying that dumb #### on fox today just made me reminisce abit. How far the dude has fallen.
I guess the difference was that Jerome wasn't horrendously sexually abused. That might have some effect on one's demeanor.

Fluery overcoming his sexual abuse and alcholism is incredible but it doesn't give him carte blanche to be an ####### of a person.

My favorite is Bill Bumface, followed by Jordan!
I was thinking if TheoFleury is able to change his username because of Theo's reputation, Bill Bumface could have changed his username now for the same reason (not the first part, but the second part of his original username), and not been stuck with Bill Bumface. Though seeing that username still makes me smile after all these years.

What on earth.

Its one thing to have been a victim, its another to insert it in conversations where it has absolutely no relevance.

Does Theo believe he has an out clause for anything he says/does now because of his past?

Honestly feels like it.

Again I reference

Sheldon Kennedy

He is a good human and wants to help others be good humans

I wish I read Sheldon's name more than I read Theo's name

Nobody is trying to detract from the unspeakably horrific things that happened to Theo. But:

I bet Jarome experience zero abuse growing up and playing hockey in the whitest province in the country. None.

The "Get Help" line opened him up for that reply, and was kind of a childish jab at his mental health.

But......he does need help. And those of us that grew up watching him and loved him all those years ago are just sad to see what path he's going down right now. He's believing things that aren't real. He does need help.

He does… but I have never heard the term “get help” and not taken it as dismissive. It’s not helpful to tell someone to “get help”. It’s basically an insult.

You know, that's fair. I agree with that.

But I really do hope he gets help.

Part of me feels that if Blundell had been sincere he wouldn't have said it like that. However, he has commented in defense of Theo before regarding his struggles, asking for patience and understanding when responding to Fleury's offensive nonsense.

There's no help for him because he is in too large a bubble. It's a collective insanity with Q and all the other rightwing BS. You can't help them because they are validated in too many places by too many people they hold in higher esteem than literally anybody who isn't in their bubble.

However out to lunch you think these people are, they think the same of you, but probably worse. It's an alternate reality where logic and evidence hold no sway and proof isn't required to support any one of their positions.
