As much as I wanted to see the Hawks beat the Oilers, they really don't deserve to be in the playoffs. I don't think it'll take long to get rid of them. Knights in 5. It'd be even better if it was 4 just to further twist the knife into Edmonton though.

Go Hawks! Massive underdog but I detest Vegas, mostly because of a couple players (Marchessault, Carrier, Stastny) and the entitlement of
being gifted the expansion draft. My dislike for Vegas is only surpassed by my dislike for the grease and the ducks.

It's surprising that this series got the prime time HNIC slot on Saturday instead of any of the series with a Canadian team in it.

Series price betting odds:

Vegas -340 (favourite)
Chicago +270 (underdog)

I predict both #8 seeds to move on. I think the Hawks will yake this series in 6 games.

NBC is carrying the game in the US, so it's probably because of them. Looks like the best matchup in terms of interest in NBCs' eyes especially since no NY, Detroit or Pittsburgh this year.

So is Lehner (5-0 with Knights) getting the chance against his old team, or old faithful in Fleury.

The Hawks did not look good vs the Oilers. The Oilers were a tire fire which allowed them to advance.

I see no way Vegas doesn't pummel the Hawks. But of course, that's why we play the games because anything can happen. Member Tampa last season?

Go hawks.

I hate the knights and I have no reason or idea why that is.

People laughed when I drafted a few Hawks in the later rounds. They have a real chance at winning a round or two, combination of really good vets and young talent. Crawford looks shaky as hell flopping around but he's getting the job done.

Not a fan of Emrick, he’s too busy for my taste.

Looked offside to me, on the zone entry before Vegas' 2nd goal.

I guess I don't understand the rule but that looked offside to me.

Edit: Hawks get it back

I don't think that you can definitively say his skate was off the ice. Need it to be clear to overturn.

Tough one, but I am not a fan of ticky tacky offside reviews anyway

Skate doesn't need to be on the ice anymore.
