I think you are right. I rewatched it, but can't see where he gets hurt. He was begging to fight someone. He asked Little Tkatchuk but he had to play hockey, so he couldn't.

IIRC the fight ended with Gudbranson on top so it’s possible he pulled something falling with that lug on top.

Major difference in commentary tonight compared to last night. It was very gross last night, especially the 20 minute gag fest after the Oilers second goal. You’d have thought it was the most amazing goal ever scored in the history of the NHL.
Edit - just realized I had the TSN feed on. Oilers crew on Sportsnet still horrid.

I heard Gudbranson challenged him to a Math Off, and he hurt his brain on the second question of 2+2, after a pause he answered "Connor", Gudbranson told him No you failed it's 4 like a 4th liner like you, he was seen holding both hands up trying to count, but ended up straining his cerebral cortex, so now he is out LTIR with a upper body injury.
